AgCareers.com believes that students have numerous opportunities to build powerful career portfolios throughout their higher education experiences. One of the opportunities, that a growing number of students participate in, is study abroad trips. We understand that the costs for these trips can be a burden on the student budget. To help offset these financial constraints, AgCareers.com provides three $1,000 scholarships for students currently studying in North America who are embarking on a study abroad experience. One scholarship is provided each term (see submission timeline below). To apply for this scholarship, please complete the application below.

PLEASE SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING ALONG WITH YOUR APPLICATION:
Personal Essay Question: Responses should be no more than 1.5 pages TOTAL to address all 3 of the following questions. Essays must be typed in a font size no smaller than 12-points with 1" margins all around. Print your name on each page.

1. Why did you choose this study abroad program, and how will it directly contribute to your academic studies?

2. What expectations do you have for your time aboard, and how do you think this trip will impact your personal and career goals?

3. How will this study abroad experience contribute to your understanding of your own agricultural knowledge and those abroad?

4. Please include a copy of your resume with your essay submission.

SUBMISSION:
Please SUBMIT the completed form. Mail/email or fax the attached Essay Responses along with your resume to Ashley Collins, Education Coordinator, according to the timeline below that best matches your trip. All entries will be considered, with emphasis on students traveling to areas AgCareers.com has interest in developing business.

Submission timeline:
April 1st for summer trips (June - August) - students will be contacted by May 15th regarding selection
July 31st for fall trips (August - December) - students will be contacted by August 15th regarding selection
December 1st for spring trips (January - May) - students will be contacted by January 15th regarding selection
