Packing and Loading Superintendent – Hudson, NY
ADM Milling

This is Salary Exempt level position.

This position reports to the Plant Superintendent and is responsible for the Safety, Health and Welfare of ten hourly reports. The successful candidate will manage their reports and resources to execute on and positively impact performance, necessary programs, policies and procedures for the Packing and Bulk Loading Departments. All decisions will consider impact on Food Safety, Sanitation, Quality, and Environmental standards. This position is metrics driven, and requires a strong sense of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
• Safety, health and welfare of employees
• Producing wholesome food safe products
• Cost reduction/management
• Energy reduction/management
• Operational efficiency
• Progressive planning and implementation
• Inventory control
• Management of all programs, policies and procedures
• Project management
• Preventive maintenance

Requirements:
• Strong computer skills
• Good record keeping skills.
• Problem solving skills
• Mechanical and electronic skills
• Bachelors Degree with 3-5 years experience in Food Processing
• PLC experience is preferred
• Customer Service experience is preferred
