Job Description: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing this large scale diversified ranch operation in Northwestern Montana who is searching for a progressive lead person who will oversee their heifer barn and calve 500 head of heifers. Calving between Feb. 1st - April 1st. Need good background with hay production; haying starts first part of July. Good experience running and maintaining pivots would be a real plus. Very important to be a team player, have good supervisory experience and not afraid to jump in and help where and when needed. Need good people skills; knowing how to bring out the best in people, in any situation. Calving can be intense, need to exercise good animal husbandry skills. There will be work from horseback, should be able to rope. Not looking for a cowboy, but a good cattleman. Will report to cow bosses.
