Position: Cutless G Technical Sales Specialist Department name : Turf and Ornamental Location: South Florida East Coast Supervisor: Administrative – V.P. Turf and Ornamental Business Day-to-Day activities – Cutless G Team Leader Amount of travel Required: Daily travel within South Florida region. Moderate overnight travel SePRO is a specialty environmental products company focused on Turf, Ornamental and Aquatic plant management. We are seeking a entry level candidate that meets the following qualifications: Position Summary This entry level position would focus completely on selling Cutless Granular Landscape Growth Regulator in South Florida region. The job involves working under the day-to-day direction of the Florida Cutless G Team Leader to close sales on leads provided by distribution and the SePRO home office. The Cutless G Technical Sales Specialist will detail Cutless G’s technical and economic benefits to the customer and “close” the sale. The Specialist will need the ability to use mechanized and non-mechanized equipment to apply Cutless G for demonstrations. The Cutless G Technical Sales Specialist would report administratively to the T&O Business Manager, but weekly activities would be directed by the Florida Cutless G Team Leader Position Qualifications Education, Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor’s degree (4 year college or University) preferred, but not required • Local connections to the South Florida landscape market are desired • Experience with plant protection products for landscape applications is also desirable • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent driving record • Excellent communication skills Competency Statements • Adaptability- Ability to adapt to change in the workplace • Trustworthy – Ability to follow direction and work with minimal supervision • Communication – Ability to communicate effectively and to sell programs, ideas and concepts • Detail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task • Enthusiastic – Ability to bring energy and passion to the performance of the tasks • Organized – Possessing the trait of being organized or following a syatematic method of performing a task • Reliability – The trait of being dependable and trustworthy Essential Functions Responsibilities Include: • Use sales, communication and relationship skills to gain end user adoption of Cutless G. • Build and maintain relationships with Cutless G customers and new prospects to promote, sell and service Cutless G. • Work in a team atmosphere with the Florida sales team and the SePRO home office staff • Conduct and document product demonstration trials • Providing technical training for key audiences (customers and influentials) • Manage time and travel to effectively and efficiently maximize sales. • Frequent interaction with associations, media, and industry influentials requires representing SePRO Corporation in a professional manner. • Work in a team environment and network with peers. • Business acumen and must be customer focused. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to travel on a daily basis. Overnight travel required.
