Parrish and Heimbecker is a growing organization that operates many subsidiary companies in many different facets of the agriculture industry. Parrish and Heimbecker is an agent and accredited exporter of the Canadian Wheat Board. Through our retail grain elevator network, we provide grain handling services and crop input products to Western Canadian farmers. 

Trucking Coordinator 

Position Description: 
• Arrange and negotiate truck freight from grain elevators
• Work with merchants, elevators, and trucking companies to create shipping schedules and maintain shipping efficiencies 
• Maintain trucking schedule and monitor against sales requirements 
• Responsible for key administrative duties including sending confirmations to truckers, preparing customs documents, reviewing and paying freight invoices. 

Qualifications: 
• Strong communications skills 
• Must be organized and have good time management skills 
• Strong negotiating skills 
• Previous experience booking freight/and or working in the country elevator system considered an asset but not necessary
