Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a mid size dairy operation in Ohio that is currently searching for a Manager to feed and care for all young stock (calves & heifers). Calves are received as day olds, and housed in hutches and a calf barn. Will be responsible for around 100 wet calves and another 800-1000 total young stock that are raised to breeding age. Will assist with vaccinations, treating, scraping, record keeping, grouping, etc. Youngstock Manager needs to have ability to move up to managing employees in a few years.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have current dairy experience to be considered for this position; self starter; organized; reliable, and trustworthy; ambitious; ability to spot problems and take care of them in a timely manner; use Dairy Comp 305.
