OVERVIEW:
The J.R. Simplot Company is a diverse, privately held organization, with roots firmly planted in agriculture and agriculture-related businesses.  These endeavors have been around for centuries and will continue to be a vital part of the global economy.  We currently have a Crop Advisor I/II/III position open within the Mini Cassia area of south central Idaho.

Markets products to growers by making sales calls, providing consulting services, and monitoring individual grower programs in respect to use of pesticides, fertilizers, irrigation, tillage, seed, and related areas.

Provides appropriate follow-up and assurance of customer satisfaction.

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and three plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strongly prefers experienced sales representative with strong motivation and marketing skills.

Requires working knowledge of fertilizer and pesticide requirements.  A CCA (Certified Crop Advisor) is also required.

Prefers knowledge of local crops. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are required.

MINI-CASSIA:
Mini-Cassia is home to 12 cities and towns plus 7 state & national parks, forests, and reserves. The area boasts the ski resort with the longest season and most snowfall as well as the best water skiing area on the Snake River.  There is never a dull moment with the multitude of events from festivals and fairs to tournaments and triathlons.
