The purpose of this position is to coordinate all aspects of developing and completion of a quarterly magazine for the Ontario Holstein Branch, which will consist of breeder and industry advertisements, Branch news, editorials and reports from various events.

The position will also assist in coordinating youth events that the Branch facilitates on a district, provincial and national level. The following responsibilities will be associated to the magazine role: Layout and design of ads and magazine Write editorials, ad copy and other promotional articles Liaise with printers, mail house, breeders and commercial businesses Develop and maintain a subscription list

The Youth Coordinator role would include:

• Assisting and Coordinating Junior Shows, Canadian 4-H Classic, and Inter-County Judging Competition
• Organize a Junior Membership program
• Promote Ontario Dairy Youth Trust Fund and Ontario Joint Dairy Breeds programs

Requirements: The position requires great organizational and coordinating skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong computer skills, creativity, self-motivation and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

The position will be based out of the Branch office in Cambridge, Ontario. Some travel is required.
