From within the Monsanto US Seeds & Traits Marketing organization, the Data Quality Analyst will focus on the development and delivery of quality data, and a 360 degree view of the customer.
Specific job responsibilities include:
- Partnering with data stewards across business and IT to deliver a data governance framework - including data governance processes and policies/data definitions, and refinement of the data governance organizational structure and corresponding roles/responsibilities already in place.
- Collaboration with data custodians and business process owners across the Monsanto brands to develop and implement customer data quality rules and rigor at the point-of-entry (based on data governance policy and direction).
- Directly supporting the effort to define and implement a data quality monitoring strategy (metrics, dashboard) as an extension of the data governance program.
- Serving as a liaison to various project teams - ensuring proper focus on customer data quality for new strategies and business processes - including (but not limited to) customer facing applications, CRM functionality, and analytics/reporting.
- Partnering with other business analysts to establish a network of communication, focused on data quality and business process efficiency.
- 2-5 years of experience in data governance, data analysis, data management, or closely related field.
- Business or technical experience in the domain of customer data.
- Demonstrated strength in analyzing facts and devising creative solutions to problems.
- Experience in developing and maintaining procedure-level documentation
- Leadership capability (influencer).
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year university.
- Beneficial: Experience in order-to-cash business processes, and/or marketing and sales strategies, and/or technical support of the same.
- Preferred: SAP knowledge - ECC and CRM, particularly in the area of customer master data.
