Human Resources Senior Writer - Decatur, Illinois Corporate Headquarters – Decatur, Illinois
This is a full-time/exempt position
Reporting to the director, Global Employee Communications, the senior writer, Human Resources, will be responsible for writing and editing global Human Resource-related communications to build understanding of and alignment with ADM’s Human Resource platforms and to build a culture of high-performance and engagement.
The senior writer, Human Resources, will take the role of editor-at-large for ADM’s Human Resource-related publications, the Human Resource Intranet site and external Web sites (http://benefits.admworld.com/ and http://adm.jobs/. The senior writer will also provide copywriting for various communication vehicles including benefits communications, recruiting communications and executive communications to position ADM as a great place to work and to inspire enthusiastic, personal commitment to achieving world-class performance and results.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in organizational communication, preferably with a Fortune 500 company. Experience is required in communication strategy development, writing, editing, publication planning and speechwriting. Experience in Human Resources especially Benefits Communications is highly preferred. Experience in social media execution is a plus, but not a requirement.
Ability to collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders of all levels is important. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential to job performance, as well as strong organizational and management skills. A bachelor’s degree is required with preference for communication or journalism concentrations.
Relocation is not required for this position.
