iFHMS Training/Support Coordinator Are you a motivated, team-oriented person with an aptitude for understanding data collection systems and teaching others how to use them? If you have an interest in computer software systems, working with databases, and are looking for a challenging position in the agricultural sector, this is the job for you! Feedlot Health Management Services Ltd. (FHMS) is a professional services company providing comprehensive animal health management programs, veterinary services, consulting services and computerized individual animal data collection systems to commercial feedlots throughout Canada and the United States. In addition, FHMS has extensive research capabilities that focus on identification, development, and evaluation of applied technologies in commercial feedlot production systems. For more information about FHMS, please visit our website. FHMS has its own proprietary computer software (iFHMS) system for the collection of individual animal data in commercial beef feedlots. As iFHMS training and support coordinator, you would work alongside the software development team to provide efficient and high quality software support and training to FHMS personnel and feedlot clients that use the system. In addition, you would learn and understand the structure of the underlying database and how the system is used in feedlot production so that you could create customized reports and data extracts for FHMS personnel and feedlot clients. Requirements: • a Bachelor degree and at least one year of experience in a software support position OR a deemed equivalent combination of education and experience • excellent computer skills with exceptional skills in MS Access, Excel and Word • excellent oral and written English communication skills – fluency in Spanish or French would also be considered an asset We provide a full benefits package and we are committed to ongoing employee development. Hours of work are generally 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. This is a permanent, full-time position.
