Champion Feed Services Ltd. is a leading livestock feed manufacturer and farm supply retailer with three feed mills serving Northern Alberta and British Columbia. We have been dedicated to producing high quality feeds designed to help livestock producers maximize their profitability since 1975. 

We are currently seeking a self-motivated, organized individual to fill the position of LIVESTOCK/FORAGE SEED SPECIALIST at our Westlock location. 

To be successful in this position, you must have a practical and comprehensive understanding of livestock and range management techniques including nutrient requirements, animal health products, feed medications, forage seed varieties and forage production. Travelling within a specified geographic area, your focus will be on-farm sales of livestock feed, forage seeds, and various farm and ranch supplies that Champion Feed Services Ltd. carries. Your exceptional customer services skills will help you communicate with clients in order to analyze their operations and develop feeding programs to fit their needs. 

The successful applicant will possess a strong agricultural business aptitude with 2-3 years experience in sales or production management. Strong interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude towards working with the public and other staff members, strong organizational skills and efficient work ethics will allow the successful applicant to excel in this position. Accuracy, neatness, and the ability to work as a team player are required characteristics. Preference will be given to applicants possessing a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or a Livestock Production related Diploma; however applicants with less experience will be considered. Experience with Cowbytes, Brill Feed Formulation software and an understanding of CFIA’s Feed Act would be assets.
