Western Sales a multi-store John Deere dealership has openings for full time farm equipment technicians at our Elrose location. 

Job Title: Service Technician Department 
Service Department Reports To Service Manager or Service Foreman 

Job Function: 
Repairs and reconditions equipment, pre-delivers New equipment for sale as well as reconditions Used equipment for the dealership. 

Essential Duties: 
1. Reconditions and repairs machinery and equipment assigned for repair by the Service Manager. Diagnose trouble and plan methods in sequence of performing work required in a timely manner. Make sure all safety equipment is in order. 
2. Meet with customers to discuss the repair of the equipment for CMI. 
3. Performs basic agricultural equipment diagnostics and determines what repairs are needed. 
4. Perform other related service work as requested by the Service Manager. 
5. Work with service management team in fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of their department. 

Skills and Qualifications: 
1. Must be thoroughly familiar with tractors and farm equipment. 
2. Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. 
3. Good skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
