Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced agronomist with leadership skills to lead a farm team within our Trait Development Platform. This person will work within a multi-disciplinary team aimed to test new Biotech products for sugarcane. The candidate will also be responsible for engaging team members through regular communication and team meetings, and working across Monsanto's global functional teams to enhance our gene testing and product development efforts.

Required Skills:
Successful candidates will have a PhD or M.Sc. degree in Agronomics or other related field with experience leading, planning and managing sugarcane field operations. The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English. The candidate must be skilled in Microsoft package and be highly motivated and results-oriented. Demonstrated ability to question the status quo appropriately, and capacity to work within in a cross functional work culture are required. Additional experience working in best agronomical practices and regulated trials, alongside field management of transgenic crops are a plus.
