TURF CATEGORY MANAGER

• Multinational seed company
• Christchurch or Auckland base

This is an outstanding career opportunity with a major multinational 
seed company with one of the largest breeding and development 
programs globally.

As Turf Category Manager you will be a crucial member of the senior 
management team, responsible for managing and developing the turf 
product portfolio, identifying opportunities, planning and executing activities 
to develop their turf business in Australasia. This includes taking a strategic 
approach to the marketing and sales of turf grass, product development 
activities and key account management of turf industry stakeholders, for 
instance contractors and managers of councils, golf courses and other sport 
venues.

Key requirements for this role include a strong turf industry background in 
a commercial environment and proven abilities in key account and category 
management. You will, therefore, possess highly developed sales and marketing 
skills, strong relationship management, a strategic approach and the enthusiasm 
and drive to succeed.
