Job Description:
Monsanto, an Ag industry is seeking a motivated scientist to join our Campinas team to work in the area of transformation technologies. This individual will work within a multi-disciplinary team aimed at enhancing our transformation systems and advance our sugarcane transgenic traits. The successful candidate must have plant tissue culture experience and a PhD in plant physiology, cell biology, genetics, molecular biology or related field experience. Leadership skills will be critical to this role and as will be expected to interact with our global Biotech organization. The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English. Experience in leading a project team will be a plus and people management experience is preferable but not required.
